Blaw brothels at least in Melbourne are required to register with the govt, conduct, regular STI checks and always use condoms.  You should be fine if you stick to a brothel.

It's safe if you go to a reputable brothel, the girl will check you as well and then if there isn't this protruding green wart or something she'll slip a condom on you, but expect to pay hundreds of dollars and feel pretty much nothing between you and the girl. Well... most importantly depends on where you go, the better known brothels are probably the best bet, and using condoms is a must, you'd probably even though it is not the best feeling but using a dam for oral sex.

Some of the brothels have internal requirements that make sure that their girls gets checked regularly for STDs, ask them before you go
